Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions is seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support an OT in delivering rehabilitative services in long-term care and related settings. You will implement treatment plans, assist with mobility training, and educate patients and caregivers to maximize independence.

The role requires an Associate’s degree, current state licensure, and a willingness to travel to patient locations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in OT Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a COTA is required.
• Prior OT rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out therapy plans under supervision to improve mobility and function.
• Provide gait, transfer training, and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely per guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and treatment areas; ensure patient satisfaction and productivity.
