Occupational therapy in the skilled nursing setting is aboutone thing: helping people get back to the activities that define their lives.At TheraDynamics, our OTs in SNF settings work with patients recovering fromstrokes, hip fractures, cardiac events, and progressive neurologicalconditions. You will design creative, functional interventions that addressADLs, cognitive retraining, upper extremity rehabilitation, and safe dischargeplanning. Your work directly determines whether a patient goes home or stays ina facility — and we give you the tools, time, and support to make that happen.
You assist Occupational Therapist in performing procedures,test and complex treatments to ensure the safe, effective evaluation andtreatment of patients; develop individualized treatment plans focused onfunctional independence, and collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social workto ensure coordinated patient care. You will address self-care skills,cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, andcaregiver training. Your clinical reasoning will be valued, and your productivityexpectations will be realistic.
