Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join a skilled nursing facility in California. You will deliver personalized OT services under supervision, helping residents develop daily living skills and participate in meaningful activities.

New grads are welcome, and positions may be permanent, local contract, or travel contract—offering travel stipends where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid OTA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering personalized occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and work activities.
• Support treatment plans for patients with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to enhance daily function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
