Fox Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home and senior living care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will deliver individualized treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic activities, and document visits in FOX’s EMR to support progress and independence.

The role emphasizes one-on-one patient engagement, collaboration with a supervising OT, and opportunities for professional growth within a clinician-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

1. FOX OTAs must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including:
2. Exerting medium physical effort: lifting 25-50 lbs occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
3. Performing CPR
4. Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility, including repositioning a bed-bound patient alone
5. Standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and extensive walking
6. Performing repetitive movements of the upper extremities
7. Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls model
8. Wearing PPE when required
