Job summary

The Lakes Home Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. The OTA will work in outpatient home settings to help clients improve daily living and work skills, conducting assessments and creating treatment plans.

The Lakes Home Care emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and flexible scheduling. The OTA will support patient independence in home care environments and adapt therapies to individual needs, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

Outpatient experience required.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Expertise in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Proficiency in patient care.
Experience in occupational health.
Familiar with clinic settings.
Experience with home health services.
Exposure to acute care environments.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and goals.
Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patients' abilities to perform daily activities.
Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance motor skills and coordination.
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
