Job summary

Devotion Hospice in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN role. The COTA will implement the treatment plan developed by the Occupational Therapist and help patients improve mobility and daily function in rehabilitation programs.

The position requires a valid COTA license and CPR certification, plus a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Home health or skilled nursing facility experience is preferred; HomeCare HomeBase experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The COTA will provide treatment in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, improve and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and restore function with activities of daily living.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant , you will:

Administers the Occupational Therapy treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist.

Applies concepts of infection control/universal precautions in performing patient care.

Assure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentation.

Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members and other health care professionals.

Promote agency philosophy and administrative policies.

Requirements

Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
