Job summary

Capstone Healthcare of Perryton in Perryton, TX seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapy services in a SNF setting. You will administer the Occupational Therapy treatment plan and ensure quality patient care.

Work includes applying infection control measures, documenting care, and communicating with patients, families, and team members. A PRN schedule is offered with adherence to agency policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License.
• Home health or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Valid Auto Insurance required.
• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred.

The COTA at this SNF will provide treatment in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, improve and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and restore function with activities of daily living.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant , you will:

Applies concepts of infection control/universal precautions in performing patient care.

Assure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentation.
