Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing vocational and educational activities to restore and reinforce individuals' task performance and overall health
• Design and adapt equipment for work and living environments, including fabricating assistive devices
• Conduct community reintegration activities to support occupational therapy needs during physical activities
• Provide training to individuals and document training results
• Support individuals' treatment plans by documenting and reporting progress to the team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with traumatic brain injury or neurological conditions
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques
