Job summary

Adoration Health in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team and support customized treatment plans that improve patients' quality of life. You will assist with therapeutic interventions, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a home-health setting.

The role requires an OTA degree, state certification, CPR, TB test, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program.
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification in state of practice.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health.
• One year preferred.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Duties require fine motor skills,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
• Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Other duties as assigned
