Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation seeks licensed Occupational Therapists in Arlington, TX to deliver in‑home and senior living care under our Geriatric House Calls model. You’ll help patients improve mobility, independence, and quality of life, treating them where they live and keeping flexibility in your schedule.

Role emphasizes autonomy, meaningful outcomes, and collaboration with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists; telehealth can be incorporated to extend access and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one Occupational therapy to older adults wherever they call home (private residences, senior living communities).
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence‑based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions that support wellness, longevity, mobility, and independence.
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access.

Employment Types Available

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification

Physical Requirements

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
• Performing CPR
• Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility
• Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities
• Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls® model
• Wearing PPE when required
