Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) is seeking an occupational therapist to perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to support patient recovery and independence.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supervise support staff, and ensure compliance with policies while coordinating equipment delivery and care transitions. Leadership and clinical instruction opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Current occupational therapy license.
• Degree from an accredited OT program (Bachelors, Master’s, or Doctorate).

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Conducts patient assessments, educates patients and caregivers, manages documentation, billing, and scheduling. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians to ensure cohesive care and optimal outcomes. Supervises support staff and maintains professionalism and compliance with organizational policies, ethics, and scope of practice. May serve as a clinical instructor and participate in departmental activities.

Inpatient Acute Care Duties

Coordinates durable medical equipment delivery, supports care transitions, and demonstrates flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Holds a current occupational therapy license and a degree from an accredited program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate). Demonstrates strong communication, professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
