Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to support patients in regaining independence and quality of life. You will work with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to assess needs, create care plans, and provide hands-on therapy tailored to goals.

Responsibilities include evaluating functional abilities, delivering interventions, monitoring progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in accordance with Nevada regulations.
• Nevada State Occupational Therapist license required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; entry level considered.
• BCLS certification required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Your role will include:

• Evaluating each patient's functional abilities and needs, then developing individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in accordance with regulations by the Nevada State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. Master's degree preferred.

• Nevada State Occupational Therapist license

• One to two years’ experience in clinical setting preferred. Entry level graduates will be considered.

• BCLS certification
