Job summary

AnthroMed Education is hiring a full-time School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students in a secondary school setting in Gary, Indiana, for the 2026–2027 school year. The role focuses on helping students gain functional skills to participate in school activities and achieve educational goals.

The therapist will provide services per IEPs, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Indiana OT license.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in line with students’ IEPs and educational goals.

School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Gary, IN

AnthroMed Education is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to support students in a secondary school setting in Gary, Indiana, for the 2026–2027 school year.

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will help students develop the functional skills they need to participate in the school environment, access their education, and increase their independence. You will provide individualized services tailored to each student's needs and educational goals.

Full-time position, Monday–Friday

Secondary school setting in Gary, Indiana

Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation

Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with school staff and families as needed

Support students with fine motor, sensory, functional, and daily living skills as appropriate

Qualifications
