Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide in-person therapy to students in a Stafford County, Virginia school setting. Placement and grade level will be determined based on district needs and OT experience during the interview process.

This role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families, and related service providers, with on-site duties and participation in IEP meetings. The position starts ASAP through the end of the school year with ongoing potential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy License.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a school-based team.
• Commitment to supporting student success and participation in the educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
• Support students in developing skills to participate in the educational environment.
• Conduct evaluations and contribute to student goals and intervention planning.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other related service providers.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide recommendations and strategies to support student access and participation in the classroom.

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive educational organization in Stafford County, Virginia to welcome a full-time Occupational Therapist for an immediate opening through May 27. Stafford County has consistently signaled a need for in-person OTs, making this an opportunity to provide meaningful occupational therapy services directly within a school setting.

School placement and grade level will be confirmed during the interview process based on the district’s current needs and the OT’s experience and interests.

What You’ll Do

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting
• Support students in developing the skills needed to participate successfully in the educational environment
