Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy across inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings. You will assess patients, plan individualized treatment, and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to support daily living skills and independence.

Required are a WI OT license and Infant-Adult BLS; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification.
• No experience required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and provide treatment techniques based on diagnosis and functional needs.
• Deliver individualized intervention and education using task analysis and identified learning needs.
• Complete documentation according to department standards to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with a variety of professionals and health care consumers to promote Occupational Therapy services.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts related to treatment, process, and systems issues.
