Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered rehabilitation services. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized care that supports independence and improved quality of life for patients in a supportive team environment.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, treatment supervision, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes within our inpatient rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
