Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to serve students in the St. Louis, MO area. The position is a W2 role with local pay of $65.00 per hour.

Typical shift is Tue, Wed, Thu, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., in a professional healthcare setting. The OT will assess student needs, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers and families to improve academic participation and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with MO license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience.
• PSV verification from licensing board or equivalent.
• Current required certifications and compliance documents such as BLS, immunizations, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to support students’ academic participation and daily functional skills.
• Assess students’ abilities related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom activities.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Provide interventions to improve coordination, motor skills, independence, and participation in school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and learning outcomes.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and strategies to improve student success.
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
• Participate in student support meetings, evaluations, and individualized education planning.
• Follow school policies, safety guidelines, and applicable professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted MO license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as an OT.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,....).
