Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient role at Midlands Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Elgin, SC.

You will evaluate patients and guide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills and cognitive abilities, while teaching ADLs and safe use of assistive devices. The position requires a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy, current OT licensure, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required.
• One year of rehab hospital experience is preferred.
• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy completed as part of licensure eligibility.

• Graduate Degree from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
• Current State Occupational Therapist License.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
• Basic Life Support/CPR card required
• One year of experience in the care of patients in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

These patients may have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling. May also assist patients in selecting appropriate adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
