Job summary

ProgressiveHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services and evaluations in outpatient settings, delivering OT techniques including P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage and desensitization, as well as dressing changes. Our ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, current state licensure, CPR/AED/BLS, and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services and evaluations to patients.
• Deliver OT techniques such as P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, desensitization, and dressing changes.
• Meet patient care time targets (75%+ minimum time in outpatient setting).
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation and provide patient feedback for health improvements.
• Deliver care within applicable state practice acts.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Provide occupational therapy services and evaluations to patients
• Provide occupational therapy techniques not limited to P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, desensitization techniques, and dressing changes
• Achieve patient care time targets, with a general target of 75%+ minimum individual patient care time (unadjusted) in the outpatient setting.
• Keeping accurate, detailed documentation with efficiency while being able to provide feedback to the patient for continuous health improvements
• Delivering care as broadly specified within applicable state practice act.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
• The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
• CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
• A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
