This role manages a patient caseload, delivers evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and coordinates interdisciplinary care while supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. The position supports regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and contributes to the organization’s clinical excellence and community reputation.
This role involves providing care in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, or clinical settings. The position requires frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting or transferring of patients using proper body mechanics and assistive devices. Routine travel within the service area is required.
This position involves routine exposure to blood, body fluids, communicable diseases, or other potential infectious materials. Universal precautions, infection control procedures, and personal protective equipment are required.
