UVA Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for flexible PRN schedules, weekdays and/or weekends. You will provide direct care, develop personalized care plans, and guide patient assessments to promote independence and quality of life.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered therapy within a supportive team and access to advanced technology while offering opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy to patients.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Address patient concerns and target recovery goals.
• Build meaningful relationships to support physical, mental, and emotional recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the recovery journey.
