Job summary

  • Master's degree in OT or 4 years of related work experience.
  • Less than 1 year of experience is preferred.
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) certification/license and BLS are required.

  • Evaluates, treats and monitors patient. Modifies therapy program and goals.
  • Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner; enters charges accurately.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers and the medical care team; provides education to patients, family and staff.
  • Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
  • Advances clinical skills through ongoing education and literature review; implements evidence-based practice.
  • Imparts knowledge to develop clinical skills of colleagues; adheres to regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintains awareness of system goals and aligns activities accordingly.

  • Evaluates, treats and monitors patient. Modifies therapy program and goals.
  • Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner. Enters charges accurately.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team. Provides education to patients, family, and staff.
  • Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
  • Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review and implementation of evidence-based practice.
  • Imparts knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues. Adheres to organizational, national and state regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintains awareness of system goals. Aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals.

  • Possesses proficient computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems and standard Rehabilitation equipment.

Qualifications
  • EDUCATION - Master's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
  • EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
  • Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
