Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fitchburg is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care, assess needs, and develop personalized care plans to help patients achieve independence and improved quality of life.

You will work within a collaborative team to deliver compassionate, high-quality therapy, celebrate patient progress, and contribute to positive outcomes across our rehabilitation program.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master‘s Degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
