Job summary

Pediatric Health Consultants Inc. is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to work full-time in a school setting in Oakland County, Michigan. Pediatric/school experience is preferred, and the candidate will screen, evaluate, and develop therapy plans for students.

Collaboration with teachers, parents, and education staff is essential. The OT will administer standardized tests, implement treatment plans, and may supervise COTAs while participating in IEPs/IFSPs as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Michigan.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (BS/MS/OTD) required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Screening and evaluation of students as part of OT services.
• Administer standardized tests and participate in treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Consult with educational staff and parents to support IEPs/IFSPs where applicable.
• Supervise COTAs when needed; attend staff and parent meetings.

Pediatric Health Consultants, a well-established contract company that has been in business for over 40 years, is currently looking for an Occupational Therapist to work full-time in a school setting in Oakland County. Pediatric/school experience preferred.

Responsibilities include screening and evaluation, standardized test administration, treatment plan development and implementation, consultation, educating and working with other educational staff and parents; supervision of COTAs if needed, attendance at staff and parent meetings and IEPs/IFSPs as applicable.
