Job summary

Encompass Health in Virginia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide direct patient care, evaluate needs, and develop customized treatment plans that promote independence and recovery.

You will supervise care, lead patient assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, patient-centered environment that values empathy, growth, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have current state license in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy to patients in need of rehab.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Target and resolve patient concerns to support meaningful recovery.
• Build relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs.
