Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR, is seeking an on-call Occupational Therapist for day shifts. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with diverse diagnoses, coordinating with care teams, and promoting independence tailored to each patient’s functional level.

The position requires OT licensure in Oregon and CPR/BLS certification. On-call duties and collaboration with the Providence family are integral to delivering high-quality care in our community hospital

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in OT or equivalent education/experience.
  • Occasional specialized OT training to meet department needs.
  • Oregon Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs.
  • Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or
  • Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or equivalent educ/experience
  • Coursework/Training: Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $46.81 - $72.66
