Blessing Health System is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess patients' functional and cognitive abilities, including activities of daily living and motor skills. You will work with patients across age groups from neonates to geriatrics and coordinate care within the care team.

This position is responsible to assess patient's functional and cognitive problems including daily living activities, upper extremity, strength, endurance, fine/gross motor skills and evaluates premorbid, vocational and community roles.
This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.
REQUIRED:
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy (BS or MS).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses current Illinois Occupational Therapist license or confirmation from Illinois Department of Professional Regulation that licensure is in process.
