Job summary

The Hope Learning Center in Pittsburgh is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide therapy services to students with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, active state licensure, and at least one year of pediatric school experience; certifications welcomed.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed to practice by the state Occupational Therapy board.
• Board certification for Occupational Therapy if eligible.
• Minimum of one year experience as an OT.
• Experience with developmental delays preferred.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT mentorship while servicing students with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality treatment, documentation, and compliance.

Core Tasks of the Occupational Therapist

Provide Occupational Therapy mentorship while servicing students with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality treatment, documentation, and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
• State Board of Occupational Therapy License
• Hold National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy if eligible
• One year of progressive experience as an OT
• Experience working with individuals with developmental delays (Preferred)
• Experience working in a school setting (Preferred)
