Qualifications

Compensation: $43.00 - $48.00 / hour

Description

TMC is a therapy provider that delivers physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long‑term care providers. We are expanding and seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess functional status, strengths, and limitations across physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional domains.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence‑based interventions to enhance independence and quality of life.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic processes, adaptive strategies, and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary team members, including COTAs, PTs, SLPs, nurses, and physicians, to coordinate holistic care.
• Monitor progress, reassess goals, and adjust treatment plans using standardized tools and patient feedback.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Master’s or Doctorate in an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state license or certification.
• Knowledge of OT concepts such as NBCOT, vocational rehabilitation, environmental adaptations, cognitive rehabilitation, sensory integration, functional assessment, and ADLs.
