Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services within our supportive inpatient team, partnering with patients and families to restore independence.

You will assess function, design personalized treatment plans, supervise therapy sessions, and guide care plans while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and case managers.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
