Job summary

AOT, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) to deliver school-based therapy to students from PreK through 12th grade. The role focuses on refining fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Travel between Homer City and Murrysville will be required. This position offers mentorship and support, with schedule aligned to school hours (8:30–4) and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License is required.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete required documentation: progress notes, data collection, IEP updates and annual reviews.
• Attend IEP meetings as needed.
• Support student development in fine motor skills, sensory integration, and ADLs.
• Travel between Homer City and Murrysville locations as needed.

Snapshot: We are seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist to work 2 days/week in Homer City and/or 3 days/week in Murrysville, PA (8:30-4 M-F) with school-age students.

Location: Homer City and/or Murrysville, PA

Timeframe: February (shadowing) through 26-27 school year.

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• Data collection
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Fine motor skills
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
