Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on restoring function for clients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders, within hospital policies and state/federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate/masters in Occupational Therapy with current state license.
• BCLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice to restore function and prevent disability for clients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Acts as integral member of the interdisciplinary care team, adhering to department and hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Education

Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license

Responsibilities

Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with department and Hospital Policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519. Functions according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $51.20 to $57.93. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
