Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of North Platte is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess residents, develop and monitor individualized plans of care, and help them regain independence within a compassionate team environment. You will supervise therapy assistants, document progress, ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility policies, and communicate with physicians and families to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Graduated from accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Experience with rehab optimal and skilled nursing facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and ensures patients' plan of care.
• Oversees occupational therapy assistants providing guidance, discussing progress, and monitoring clinical interventions/skills.
• Provides skilled services and interventions using various techniques needed to achieve patients' goals.
• Follows all regulations and guidelines of the facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
• Adheres to discussed scheduled hours.
• Provides skilled documentation of patient's condition, and provides caregiver/patient education, progress, and need for services.
• Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patients' engagement and responses to treatment modifies as necessary.
