Job summary

NKC Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality OT services in an outpatient setting, focusing on pediatrics, pelvic health and upper-extremity injury management. The schedule may be 5-8 hour days (9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.) or 4-10 hour days (8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), with one holiday weekend day per year.

Experience with pediatrics and pelvic health is preferred. Qualified candidates must hold NBCOT, BLS from AHA, and be an OTR.

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• NBCOT certification required.
• BLS from AHA required.
• OTR (Occupational Therapist) status required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy services through evaluation and treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.
• Outpatient clinical work focusing on pediatrics, pelvic health and upper extremity injury management.
• Cross-trained to support Acute Care and required to work one holiday and one weekend day annually at minimum.

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.

Occupational Therapist to work primarily in an outpatient clinical setting, focusing on pediatrics, pelvic health and upper extremity injury management. A schedule will be established at the time of hire, and will either be 5-8-hour days, working 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. or 4-10-hour days, working 8 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., with off day being determined at time of hire. Will be cross-trained to support Acute Care and will be required to work one holiday and one holiday weekend day annually at a minimum. Experience either as a student or in clinical practice with pediatrics and pelvic health is indicated to apply for this role.
