Job summary

Cranial Technologies is seeking a full-time Clinician to join our Norfolk, VA team. This pediatric outpatient position focuses on treating infants with the DOC Band® to reshape head shapes and EarWell® to correct ear shapes, within a child-friendly clinic environment.

Clinicians provide direct patient care, develop strong relationships with families, and participate in a formal training program. We offer a supportive team with opportunities for mentorship and growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT licensure required.
• 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces).
• Experience in pediatrics or infants is preferred; formal training program provided.

Responsibilities

• Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band.
• Correct ear shapes with EarWell.
• Develop strong relationships with families throughout treatment.
• Provide direct patient care with minimal paperwork.

We are currently looking for a full-time Clinician to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

This position is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. As a Clinician, you will treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band ® and correct ear shapes with EarWell ® . Pediatricians and parents alike look to our Clinicians as the experts in evaluation and in treatment of plagiocephaly as well as conditions involving misshapen ears. Our treating Clinicians develop great relationships with our families at every stage of their treatment process.

Who we are hiring from

• PTs and OTs are an excellent fit with their background knowledge of symmetry and asymmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis, and infant/toddler development.
• Registered Nurses are a great fit with their experience in hands-on patient care and compassion for families as well as their capability to treat the whole patient.
• Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists & Certified Orthotists are also a strong fit because of their hands-on experience with orthotics and direct patient care.

A background in pediatrics is preferred, but not necessary as we have a formal training program that includes mentoring.
