New London Public Schools seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy services across grades, including evaluation, intervention, IEP planning, and discharge planning.
Responsibilities include collaborating with teachers and families, developing individualized OT plans, training staff, adapting environments with assistive technology, and documenting progress. Connecticut certification and NBCOT credential are required, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

REPORTS TO: Executive Director of School and Family Support
SUPERVISES: Occupational Therapy Assistants
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-month unaffiliated position. Other terms set by the Board of Education.
Primary Function
Provide quality school-based therapy services, which includes but is not limited to assessment/evaluation, intervention/treatment, IEP planning and implementation, discharge planning, related documentation, and communication between teachers, teacher assistant, related service providers and families.
