Join Home Health of Western Colorado as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Montrose, CO. This full-time role provides compassionate, in-home therapy to clients and supports the agency’s mission to deliver high-quality care with heart.

You must be licensed in Colorado, hold an accredited OT degree, have at least 1 year of OT experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to client homes is required; mileage is paid. Compensation ranges from $46 to $52 per hour, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered in Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an OT curriculum accredited by the appropriate bodies or eligible for certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing occupational therapy to clients per physician orders.
• Communicate progress with families, physicians, and health team members.
• Evaluate and treat clients and maintain proper documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Supervise OT assistants and rehabilitation aides in direct client care.
• Coordinate scheduling, transportation, and filing related to therapy services.

Pay Range: $46- $52 per hour based on previous work experience. Schedule: M-F 8am- 5pm

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Must be licensed or registered in the state of Coloardo as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
• A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

**Looking for a candidate with Pediatric Experience**

The Occupational Therapist will provide ongoing therapy to clients in a timely manner per physician’s orders. Communicate progress within the agency of client progress. The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats clients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains appropriate documentation of services and complying with State and Federal regulations.

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon the written order of the client's attending physician.
• Manages and supervises the Occupational Therapy assistants and/or rehabilitation aides in direct client care and client-related activities.
• Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates the Occupational Therapy offered by the department (i.e.: assist with scheduling, transportation, filing, and mailing).
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
• Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in the state.
