Job summary

Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role provides direct patient care, performs evaluation, treatment planning and coordinates with physicians.

You will be responsible for developing and adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress, working 8-hour day shifts. California OT license and BLS required, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing therapist.

Provides direct patient care services in all assigned areas that includes evaluation, assessment, treatment planning based on the functional needs of the patients, program development, evaluation of the response to care, and readjustment of the treatment plan as required. Plans and provides patient, family, peer education and coordinates services with other health cares professionals including interaction with physicians responsible for the care of the patient. Follows an individualized performance development plan to maintain current knowledge and be competent in critical areas and support program components. Promote hospital goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications:
