Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students in a school-based setting near Minooka, IL. This contract role involves in-person work and collaboration with diagnostic teams to assess and address student needs across multiple locations.

The caseload covers about 45 students, many with ID/DD or ASD. The OT will travel between at least two sites daily, deliver direct services, develop treatment plans, participate in evaluations and IEP meetings, and document

Occupational Therapist

Compensation Range: $54.50/hour – $64/hour
Location: Minooka, IL & Morris, IL; Onsite – School Setting

Position Summary

An Occupational Therapist is needed to support children near Minooka, IL as a dedicated school-based Occupational Therapy professional. This contract position involves working in person and collaborating closely with diagnostic team to assess and address student needs. The caseload of 45 children would provide the opportunity to work with students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There are five different school locations within the caseload, and the OT would be traveling between at least two locations each day. Responsibilities and Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: School Day Schedule
• Hours per week: 35hours per week
• Contract length: January 5, 2027to May 28, 2027

Key Duties

• Deliver in-person OT services, focusing on supporting and empowering students to achieve educational and developmental goals.

Licenses & Certifications

• Must hold an active Illinois Occupational Therapist license

Experience

• Previous experience in school settings or working with children is preferred.

• Flexibility and a proactive attitude to adapt to a growing caseload as new students join the program.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.

• Ability to perform all duties with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
