Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Evaluation: assess residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
• Therapy Planning: develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and goals.
• Intervention: provide one-on-one therapy addressing motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
• Rehabilitation & Recovery: utilize techniques and adaptive equipment to enhance skills and independence.
• Documentation: maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaboration: work with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Education & Training: educate residents, families, and caregivers on techniques to support rehabilitation.
• Program Development: participate in development and refinement of therapy programs and protocols.
• Compliance: adhere to policies, state and federal regulations.
• Professional Development: stay current with best practices through continuing education.

Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist at Emerald Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through therapeutic interventions.
