Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services LLC in Merrimack, NH is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time school-based position for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students in a public school / special education setting.

The OT will provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, PTs, and SLPs, while maintaining documentation and compliance records.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or OTD).
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students.
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals.
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small group sessions).
• Support students with fine motor skills and handwriting, sensory processing, executive functioning, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, PTs, and SLPs.
• Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions.
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.

Key Responsibilities – Occupational Therapist (OT)
