Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year in the Marana, AZ area. This itinerant role covers multiple school sites and is in-person (0.6 FTE).

The position involves developing IEP goals, writing evaluation reports, and collaborating with teachers and families to support student skills. Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, an active AZ OT license, and a fingerprint clearance card.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Arizona OT License.
• Active Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
