The role includes supervising support personnel, making critical decisions independently, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Conducts initial and ongoing patient evaluations, establishes appropriate treatment plans, and assists with discharge planning. Provides patient and family education on deficits and adaptive equipment, ensuring comprehensive care. Performs all duties within licensing and practice standards.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, with a preference for a Master’s. Must hold current licensure in the state and BLS certification. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision are essential.
