Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a part time Occupational Therapist to provide early intervention services for children birth to 3 years old in Lebanon County, PA. Travel to homes and community settings is required. Weekdays 9am-5pm; the role includes administrative duties to support program growth in the county.

The position offers mentorship within a supportive team and access to an Early Intervention Academy and a Lending Library to assist with evaluation materials.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid state OT license.
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Clearances (Child Abuse, Federal, State) required.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid for HealthCare Provider required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide OT services under IFSP for children birth to age 3.
  • Deliver services in homes, daycares, and community settings.
  • Coach families on intervention strategies to enhance participation.
  • Participate in IFSP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain client documentation in a timely manner per regulations.

Job description

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a part time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide early intervention services for children birth to 3 years old in Lebanon County, PA. This would start as a part time position and be able to build a full time caseload as desired.

It would require travel to homes and community settings.

Requires week day availability between 9am and 5pm.

This is a unique roll and would also require some administrative type duties to assist with marketing and building the program in the county.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) by providing occupational therapy services to children from birth to age 3 as well as consultation with the family/caregivers and other team members to support the child in reaching their specific developmental goals.
  • Provide services in homes, daycares and other community settings.
  • Coach families/caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate their engagement and active involvement and transfer skills across settings.
  • Participate in IFSP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
  • Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines, HIPPA, and County/State/Federal regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist
  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
