Job summary

AdventHealth in Kissimmee, Florida seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, develop and implement therapy plans, and educate patients and families. This full‑time daytime role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation consideration, with shifts aligning to the department schedule.

Requirements include a Master’s in Occupational Therapy (preferred), active OT license or temporary status, and BLS CPR. Office address provided in Kissimmee, FL 34744.

• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans, including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency.
• Documents accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology.
• Identifies the need for patient and caregiver education and utilizes opportunities for teaching, including discharge recommendations.
• Discharges patients when maximum benefit is achieved or according to standards of practice and payer guidelines.
