BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their Hudson County Visits team. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment while providing personalized care to clients in their homes.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with nursing and other disciplines. Competitive compensation includes $75-$80 per point with an annual earning potential of up to $124,800, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Prior home health experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently.

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Hudson County Visits team. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment while providing one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients in the comfort of their homes throughout Hudson County.

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to helping clients maintain independence, safety, and quality of life while receiving care where they are most comfortable—at home.

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits within designated geographic territories.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, including ADLs, IADLs, mobility, cognition, communication, and safety.
• Develop individualized treatment plans designed to maximize independence and functional outcomes.
• Assess home environments and recommend adaptive equipment and modifications.
• Collaborate with nursing and other disciplines to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic interventions and strategies to improve safety and independence.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Prior home health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience with EMR documentation preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:

$75.00 - $80.00 per point ($117,000-$124,800 annual earning potential)
