Job summary

Kentfield Hospital, part of American Advanced Management, seeks an Occupational Therapy Supervisor to lead OT services at our Marin County facility.

Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, program planning, and documentation under physician orders; supervision of OT staff; emphasis on regulatory compliance and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy per state requirements.
• NBCOT registered and licensed as applicable.
• BLS certification from a Kentfield-approved vendor.
• 1 year of experience in OT or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Occupational Therapy Services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning, implementation and related documentation.
• Communicate findings and progress; operate under physician orders.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and Therapy Techs as applicable.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and professional standards.

Position Summary

Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician's orders. This position is based in our Marin County facility.

Qualifications

POSITION SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the following positions: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and Rehabilitation Aides/Therapy Techs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted. Masters Degree required otherwise. NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements. Current, valid, and active registration or license per state requirements in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Kentfield-approved vendor required

Additional Qualifications/Skills

One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
