Job summary

FREEHOLD HEALTH & WELLNESS LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Freehold, New Jersey. You will meet with multiple patients daily, assess needs, and design individualized therapy plans to help patients improve mobility and quality of life.

Collaborate with a care team, educate patients on lifestyle changes, and document progress while maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate communicates well, stays organized, and remains compassionate across diverse cases.

Qualifications

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals
• Work closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress

You will also work closely with other doctors or members of their health team to arrange follow-up care, help educate patients on lifestyle changes they may need, and provide a positive, affirming presence in their lives.
