Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Day Neuro, PRN. The role supports the Day Neuro clinic and may assist on the hospital campus, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to treat neurologic patients including stroke, brain injury, SCI, and other neurological disorders.

The ideal candidate has strong neurological rehab skills, works well in a team setting, and is eligible for Texas licensure.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans and deliver skilled interventions for patients in medical-surgical, ICU, telemetry and specialty units.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate on discharge planning to ensure safe and appropriate patient transitions.
• Document timely and accurately in the electronic medical record per hospital and regulatory standards.
• Completing patient/family education related to mobility, safe transfers and home exercise programs, as appropriate.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives within our team.

Occupational Therapist - Day Neuro

PRN

Weekday PRN Rate:$60/hr

Weekend PRN Rate: $66/hr

Seeking Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our growing multi-disciplinary team in the Day Neuro setting. The position supports our Day Neuro clinic with opportunities to support our inpatient rehab hospital located on the same campus. The candidate will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to treat neurologic patients that include stroke, brain injury, SCI, and other neurologic disorders. We are seeking a candidate with strong neurological rehab skills who works well in a team setting. We are open to new grads with day neuro or strong outpatient neurologic experience.

Responsibilities
