You'll evaluate and treat patients, collaborate with families and healthcare teams, and maintain comprehensive documentation. You’ll also mentor, train staff, and support patient care excellence.**Key Responsibilities*** Conduct evaluations within 24 hours (or one business day) of physician referral.* Develop and implement effective treatment plans with physician approval.* Provide direct patient care in alignment with treatment plans.* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and assist with Restorative Aide training.* Communicate patient progress and plans with the healthcare team.* Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress per policy and regulatory guidelines.* Educate patients, families, and staff on maintenance programs for discharge preparation.* Facilitate durable medical equipment recommendations to promote patient independence.* Participate in care conferences, in-service training, and discharge planning.* Ensure department equipment is maintained and functional.**Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:*** Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (**BSOT or MSOT**)* Currently registered/licensed in **Missouri**.
